World Cup Qatar 2022 Technologies

World Cup Qatar 2022

Today we are seeing the world cup 2022 booming in Qatar, that never been witnessed before. Qatar achieved the impossible in front of the whole world. Showing the western culture, the Middle East is here to fight for the best, Using the Most powerful technologies ever made. That’s why FIFA has announced that it will use semi-automated offside technology at the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar.

The technology uses 12 dedicated tracking cameras mounted underneath the stadium roof to track the ball and up to 29 data points of each player, 50 times per second, calculating their exact position on the pitch. By combining the limb- and ball-tracking data and applying artificial intelligence, the new technology provides an automated offside alert to video match officials. The semi-automated offside technology allows match officials to make more accurate and reproducible offside decisions in a shorter period.

The video match officials’ and referees’ positional data points are converted into a 3D animation using the video match officials’ and referees’ positional data points to show the position of the player’s limbs when the ball is played. The technology has been successfully trialed at numerous test events and live at FIFA tournaments, including the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 and the FIFA Club World Cup 2021.

As Adidas Added its value to the ball, the In-ball is a device supported by suspension technology provided by Adidas and optical camera tracking from Hawk-Eye. It can transmit data in real-time to constantly track the ball’s position. When a ball flies out of bounds during play, a new ball is thrown or kicked in to replace it. Artificial intelligence software generates automated offside alerts to officials in the match’s video room. The software also creates 3D renderings of the spatial data, which footage will overlay onto TV broadcasts and in-stadium monitors.
